Chancey Williams, Neal McCoy, and Conner Smith Headline RIDE 20th Celebration It’s hard to believe, but, RIDE will celebrate our20th anniversary next July in Roundup, Montana. Every year except when covid shut us down in 2020, we have welcomed family, friends and visitors to town to have fun and enjoy music, rodeo and parades. RIDE is pleased to announce the concert lineup for the 2025 edition. Wyoming singer-songwriter Chancey Williams has the distinction of being one of only two cowboys to have competed in the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo, a...
RIDE is here at last and the whole town is welcoming friends and family to town for a big old time. It’s going to be a blast. I’ve got great memories of coming here before Lulu and I officially moved here in 2003, of the rodeo, parades and all that Roundup did to make me want to live here for good. I have been a member of the RIDE committee since 2006, and sang at the first RIDE in 2005. I have a firsthand appreciation of what effort it is to put on an event such as this or a rodeo. I thought I might give a little history of RIDE from pure mem...

Rodney Atkins is coming to Roundup, Montana for RIDE’s 19th celebration with some nice country music record achievements in his back pocket, and it’s something that any artist would love to have. His 2019 single “Caught Up in the Country” spent more time on the charts that any other single in the history of country music. For 57 weeks, it stayed on the charts, which is remarkable since most record labels try to get radio stations to move on to their next song project after the song peaks. However, the radio stations couldn’t get enough of...
Two American Idol winners in Roundup town on consecutive night for RIDE’s 17th annual celebration is a pretty big deal. I don’t know if they’ve ever met, but they both understand how hard the music life is and how much of a struggle it is to come out on top of a competition that has millions of viewers glued to their seats during the popular shows airing. Caleb Johnson will be in Roundup on July 1st with his band The Ramblin’ Saints, and he’ll have the crowd on their feet with his soulful r...
The 16th edition of RIDE is just around the corner and country hit maker Joe Nichols brings his energetic show to the Roundup Outdoor City Stage on July 3rd. The show starts at 7 pm but you might want to bring your lawn chairs a little early and keep your eyes on the sky because the Army's Golden Eagle Jump Team will parachute in to the venue. There could be a couple local celebrities jumping as well. Joe Nichols has been a mainstay of country music for two decades, bridging the gap between...
The 16th edition of RIDE is just not too far out in the early summer distance. The dates for the events are July 2-4th. The RIDE committee has been preparing for this event for literally two years. No one had a clue what lay ahead as 2020 approached. With the world in a pandemic, last year’s RIDE was cancelled, and everything was moved ahead to this year with the blessings of the entertainment already booked. Earlier this year Lauren Mascitti was added to the July 3rd lineup, but we just moved the contracts of Joe Nichols and the Hotel Californ...
“I’m a sucker for a good songwriter. What I love most is Lauren’s silky quality as a storyteller, and that’s the part I really fell in love with. I’ve melted already”. That’s what the great Lionel Richie said about Lauren Mascitti when she was on the TV show “American Idol”. That’s coming from a singer who knows talent and songwriting, and Lauren has both in abundance. Lauren Mascitti will be making her Montana debut in Roundup Montana at RIDE on July 3rd. She’ll take the Roundup Outdoor Stage at 7 pm. A dynamic performer, she’s spen...
Joe Nichols is headlining RIDE’s 16th annual celebration and the bus will roll in to town for a big show on Saturday July 3rd at the Roundup Outdoor Stage. Lots of big things have already happened lately for Nichols as he told KLMB’s Mike Morgan recently. “In early April, I signed a new record deal with Quartz Hill Records. The label head is a guy that produced some of the #1 hits we had out in the past and I feel like I’m home when I’m around him. I also have a new single that will hit radio on April 26th and be released digitally on the 23...
You might remember Lauren Mascitti from this past season of ABC’s “American Idol”. Mostly know for her solo round performance during Hollywood Week of a song she penned herself titled “God Made A Woman”. She quickly became a fan favorite. The multitude of fans that she gathered through the show quickly went to her aid when she didn’t make it to the final round. Within a day, they catapulted Lauren’s album to #4 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart. Lauren grew up in the small farm community of Louisville, Ohio, and was raised on the sounds of...
RIDE’s 2021 annual 4th of July celebration will be the biggest yet with Joe Nichols headlining on July 3rd at the City Outdoor Stage. With the Covid-19 Pandemic cancelling last year’s events, Roundup is ready to rock again. Measures are being put in place to have a safe audience presence. On July 2nd, RIDE is bringing back to Roundup one of the most popular groups to appear in event history. Hotel California was last here in 2014, the year before the Outdoor Stage was built. George Dickenson of the band tells Mike Morgan, “We’ve heard about t...
