The November meeting of Flatwillow Homemakers was held on the 9th at Melody’s home. She made a New England boiled dinner and we all contributed pot luck salads and desserts. It was delicious. We celebrated two November birthdays – Lillian Moore and Ginger Moore. We had a visitor with us. Jan Cain from the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area was here visiting the Lunds, so she came to the meeting with us. She enjoyed meeting everyone and everyone enjoyed meeting her. WINNETT SENIOR NEWS August Aug 5 - There were thirty-five members in house and six take-out orders today. Our lunch menu was goulash, beets, sliced cheese, and chocolate zucchini cake for dessert. WINNETT SENIOR NEWS JULY 2021 July 1 - Twenty-six members in house and seven take-out orders enjoyed a picnic lunch of Polish dogs with bun, crab macaroni salad, chips, watermelon, and an ice cream cone. We celebrated having a picnic for the 4th of July only we were inside. It was fun. The foot clinic will be held on Tuesday, July 6 in the rec room of the apartments. Flatwillow Homemakers will start our new year on September 14. At this time, we don’t know who will host our first meeting, but we will keep everyone posted. WINNETT SENIOR NEWS May 6 - There were twenty-eight seniors and ten take-out meals today. Our lunch was pasta sausage bake, Caesar salad, beets, relishes, and ice cream sundaes with toppings for dessert. The foot clinic will be on May 10. Be sure to let Linda G. know if you want an appointment or not. They usually fill up fast, so be sure to let Linda know. Cassie thanked the seniors for their Easter Egg hunt donation. Mar 5 - I didn't get a menu for today. The 50/50 for $9.00 was won by Donna Rowton. There will be an Area II meeting in Harlowton on March 20th for anyone who would like to go. FLATWILLOW and WINNETT NEWS On Friday, February 14, Winnett was presented with the Academic Excellence Award from MHSA/Northwestern Energy. Winnett high school students who participated in sports, music, and/or cheerleading had their GPA calculated. Their cumulative GPA of 3.755 was the highest among Class C schools, and second in all class rankings.
