  • Letters to the Editor

    Jan 11, 2023

On 28 December the Catholic Church commemorates what it calls the Holy Innocents, the boys two and under that King Herod ordered murdered in an attempt to destroy the Ruler forecast to him by the Magi. At the present time our country officially considers acceptable the killing of an unborn child adequately developed in every way necessary to survive outside his or her mother, as it does the killing of one that with near certainty will grow into that same, viable state. The Church declared Herod’s handful of unwitting victims “martyrs,” and I...

  • Potentially the Most Consequential Supreme Court Case in U.S. History

    Harold Pease PhD|Jan 11, 2023

Swearing allegiance to the Constitution is required of every office holder in our government and every person who serves in the armed forces. The Constitution reads, “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic….” Should there be a penalty for violating this oath? That is now before the Supreme Court January 6, 2023. Did legislators knowingly violate the Constitution by not waiting the 10 day period to assess the evidence of fraud and alleged fore...

  • Roundup Boys Basketball

    Rick Griffith|Jan 11, 2023

The Panthers were back at it on the road at Huntley Project on Monday evening. The Red Devils are pretty notorious for trying to jump on you early and then let you try to dig yourself out of the hole. The Panthers did get off to a slow start as we missed a couple of easy baskets against the Red Devil full court pressure. The Panthers slowly began to right the ship as four different Panthers scored in the quarter. Jordon, Dustin, Braedan , and Kylen all got on the board in the first quarter and the Panthers trailed 15-13. From that point...
