  • Van Dykes Adjusts to Corporate Decisions

    Lura Pitman|Feb 9, 2022

Some of our readers have likely already noticed that there has not been a VanDykes sales flyer in every weekly issue like there normally is. I spoke to Jerry Rangitsch, manager at VanDykes grocery. He explained that the corporate board is pairing down the printed sales flyer. They are doing three weekly sales flyers a month, of which one will be a two week flyer. While this is inconvenient for many of our readers, the store is offering the ads online, and they can be found at...

One such person is Karen Varney. Karen sought out the DEQ independently as a water hauler from the water source, and is happy to share with the community the positive response. If you are a water hauler, take the time to thank Karen next time you see her, and particularly Kelly...

  • Letters to the Editor

    Feb 9, 2022

On January 31, 2022 I had a meeting with county commissioners regarding dumping and hoarding in Roundup and county. Many locals beside myself have voiced concerns over dumping, debris and filth littering our community. This does not include local businesses that must have a large inventory or large equipment stored on their business premises. Our local small business owners do a fantastic job keeping their area neat and tidy. They have community pride. The state of Montana does have laws against hoarders and dumping. One law is called The...

  • "Do You Miss Me Yet?" The People are Winning

    Harold Pease PhD|Feb 9, 2022

Biden’s record the past year has been that of total failure. In mere weeks we went from energy independence and an energy exporter to energy dependence on others. With 9.6% inflation in 11 months, Americans lost 10% of the value of their money and inflation is now at a 40 year high. It is increasingly difficult to avoid the thought that the Democrats seek to destroy the economy and bring us into the Great Reset and world government. Our supply chain is falling apart and empty shelves prove it. Odds are, even the most incompetent person in g...

Montana State University Extension has released a new MontGuide that gives information on how to approach that choice.
