    Lura Pitman|Feb 23, 2022

In collaboration with Mayor Jones Time to catch up with our city Mayor, Sandra Jones. With many water concerns lately, I was stirred to meet with our Mayor, Sandra Jones. For those who are not aware, or may have moved here recently, the city of Roundup has been working towards better water for the city of Roundup, a project that has taken many years to bring to fruition, and is still in process. Federal Authorization was given to The Central Montana Regional Water Authority for the project in...

Rend Your Hearts and Not Your Garments Unless you have been there it is probably worse than you can imagine. I am speaking of the Mardi Gras. From the distant perspective of Montana, Mardi Gras may seem like a harmless annual Gulf Coast carnival. There is more to the Mardi Gras than beads, and parades and marching jazz bands. The term “Mardi Gras” is French for “Fat Tuesday.” It is a reference to the Tuesday before the season of Lent begins. Ash Wednesday is March 2 this year. Lent, a forty day, (excluding Sundays), preparation for the death an...

  • Letters to the Editor

    Feb 23, 2022

The county is a eysore. How much more decay and filth does this county want to embrace? Decadence is everywhere, the commissioners (past and present) and present attorney obviously do not care. Why is it a few property owners are allowed to have their own dump sites and ruin land values for others? Its no wonder why new businesses, professionals and their families will not invest in this county. If you doubt me look around you, the latest blight "mess" being in the village of Musselshell across from post office. Sad indeed its allowed, where...

  • "The Most Secure Election in History," Falling Apart

    Harold Pease PhD|Feb 23, 2022

The presidential election of 2020 was “The Most Secure Election in History” headlined many newspapers in November 2020. If this was so why did 56% not believe this in early October 2021 and only 44% did, just eleven months from the election (“Biden 2020 Win ‘Tainted,’ 56% Say it was a Cheaters Paradise,” Washington Examiner)? And why do election anomalies regarding it keep surfacing despite it being the most censored election in U.S history causing confidence in its results to tumble even more with every month? Let us review by state the n...

    Feb 23, 2022

In the 1960's an olde saying went around,it went like this. "If you scratch a Liberal you will see a facist." For the last two years the Democrat Marxist Liberal party has exposed themselves by their tyranny in our lives. They rigged elections, got Americans fired, shuttered small businesses, shut down funerals and stole childhoods.ALL FOR NOTHING! There is not a shred of evidence Covid mandate states had superior outcomes than free Red states did. It was all for politics. Time for a reckoning. • We need more housing

    Feb 23, 2022

By: Sen. Greg Hertz, R-Polson Montana has been discovered. We were the second-fastest-growing state in the country last year. Our rapidly increasing population presents many challenges and opportunities, and it’s also driving a lot of unease among many of us who’ve lived here for a long time. Whether you love it or hate it, that growth looks like it’s going to keep happening for a while. We need to deal with that reality and reform many policies very quickly to respond to it, especially when it comes to housing. Buying or renting a place to liv...
