Greg Eiselein’s magnificent statue of Teddy Blue Abbot Crossing the Musseslshell is about ready to come home to the lawn of the Musselshell County Court House. However, in order to accomplish all of this, about $15 thousand will be needed to pay what is owed the foundry for their work, for the transportation of Teddy Blue and his herd home from the foundry in Wyoming, and get it installed on the Court house lawn in the near future. The response of donors to this project has been extremely g...

The Roundup Panthers traveled to Shepherd Friday evening to challenge the Mustangs on their home court. The Panthers ran a full court man pressure at the Mustangs hoping to get them rattled and tired. The Mustangs didn’t get rattled but it did wear them down as they weren’t as efficient on the offensive end in the second half. Braeden got the Panthers started in the first quarter scoring all 9 of his points in the first quarter. Fellow sophomores Jace and Kylen chipped in and the Panthers led 14-13. The Mustangs exploded in the second quarter l...

Citizens of Musselshell and Petroleum Counties, The decision of the Musselshell County Commissioners to publish legal and public notices in both the Roundup Record Tribune and Winnett Times, and the Roundup Herald is costly to the public, and confusing. If the idea is truly to save the county money, then the decision should be brought forward the proper way. According to Commissioner Pancratz, they are intending to publish in both papers and then decide who they want to go with for future publications. If the commissioners decide to publish...
Dear Editor, Representative Larry Brewster, of Billings, certainly is not out of step with the 67th Montana legislature. The political atmosphere in Helena seems to be “Trump Light”, or maybe not so light. One can only wonder why a representative would put forward a bill so out of touch with the current science of global warming. It’s also possible he is in denial about the efficacy of vaccines in combating Covid-19, let alone the personal freedoms denied by mask mandates. Not only are many of our legislators in some sort of doltish aversion to...
BIDENS ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.....Immigration laws of the United Sates are passed by our Congress and approved by our Senate. Since when does any President break Federal laws approved and allowed to get away with it? Joe Biden [not President] took oath on January 21,2021 to defend and protect country. Opening up our borders does just the opposite, it puts us at risk of danger. Do not allow this irresponsible man to destroy our nation with illegal aliens. Write your state Rep's: e-mail or call Governor Gianfforte, Matt Rosendale, state Senators...
By Michael Vondra What Can Investors Learn from 2020? Now that we’re a few weeks removed from 2020, it’s a good time to reflect on such a momentous year. We can think about developments in the social and political spheres, but we also learned – or perhaps re-learned – some valuable lessons about investing. Here are four of them: • A long-term perspective is essential. Volatility in the financial markets is nothing new, but, even so, 2020 was one for the books. Of course, the COVID-19 outbreak was the driving force behind most of the wild pric... Full story
Military intelligence knew that several foreign actor countries, notably China, intended to participate in America’s 2020 election. Thus they prepared for this and captured “terabytes of information” of all foreign electronic vote changes in all 2,995 counties. Through them we, today, can go to any county in the U.S. and see if its vote was changed by what foreign actor, precise time, precise place sent from and received, and precisely how many votes were changed. This is the most thorough, powerful, and convincing documentation I have ever...
By Stephen Dinan - The Washington Times The Rev. Stephen M. Koeth, a Catholic priest and Ph.D. history candidate at Columbia University, was teaching a class one of Martin Luther King Jr.’s sermons that mentioned the road to Jericho. He found it striking that none of the students got the reference to the road, which is where the parable of the Good Samaritan takes place. But then the Rev. Koeth realized it wasn’t just the road — the students weren’t familiar with the Good Samaritan. That makes them pagans, in the very real sense of the word, he...

Downing goes on to say, "Now is the time to review your property insurance. Are you in an area where there is a risk of flooding? If so, now is a...

Dr. Glenn Sunshine – Professor of History, Central Connecticut State University and Senior Fellow at the Colson Center A Clarion Call to Virtue: There is an action-behavioral element to virtue. Virtue is well modeled by Fr. Billy Kosco’s homely on Righteous Anger. Be you protestant or Catholic, you would be inspired by his boldness that we rarely see in Christian leadership. He displays the kind of virtue that risks taking a stand. A virtue that we saw in the Founding Fathers as they launched into the war for independence – a war that demanded...
