A MAN AFTER GOD’S HEART David was called by God “a man after God’s own heart”. I like to read about David because he was a person who knew and understood God. Many of the things David writes about had not yet come to pass when David wrote them. He was ahead of his times because He actually knew God and was not just writing from his own feelings and problems. Yes, he did write some of those feelings and problems in the Psalms, but his conclusion was always that God was in control and that God was the only hope he had. Turn with me to Psalm 24 an...
Republican Legislative Leadership Disappointed by "Meeting" with Governor Bullock HELENA, Mont. - Last week, Republican Legislative Leadership sat down with Governor Bullock to discuss Montana’s failing economy and budget issues due to the Governor’s closures. While Leadership appreciated the rare opportunity to discuss the pressing issues facing Montanans with the Governor, this meeting merely served as a press conference for the Governor’s campaign with hand-picked members of the Press, and provided no opportunity to have substantive conve...
“If you have nothing to hide. You have nothing to fear!” This is the message governments have told their people from time immemorial, especially tyrants of socialist countries: Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao Ze Dong and Pol Pot. All designed to paralyze freedom buffs of every nation. Today Communist China watches her people more than any other country on earth reportedly from high tech surveillance technology often obtained in part from Google. Cameras are everywhere recording everything that happens in many big cities, as for example the city of G...

7Our father, Bud (James Ray) Jones, was welcomed into this world by his parents James Dewey Jones and Iva Viola (Harbour) Jones on July 1, 1925 in Roscoe, Texas. Bub, short for brother, turned into Bud, and he was known as Bud Jones for the rest of his life. Bud was a very intelligent young man and graduated Roscoe school systems in a total of 10 years. After graduation...

Make sure you are watering thoroughly and only when needed. Consider mulching the soil with shredded leaves, evergreen needles or oth¬er organic material to conserve moisture, moderate soil te...

We promised a look at the Crow Indian religion, but before beginning, we must be a little more specific. If we wanted to sketch, say, the religion of Italians, we would have to decide if we meant in 300 BC, 400AD, 1500AD, or exactly when, because practices, even gods, changed over time. When anthropologists talk about traditional Crow religion, they mean as formed during the time period, 1725-1770, during which their culture changed radically, due to ...? This is a quiz to see who remembers...
