Barry loves fishing, hunting with friends, a good stew, and a cold beer. Since he retired from the Roundup High School as a shop teacher in 2009, Barry has enjoyed his favorite hobbies. One of his hobbies that has carried on into retirement from his career is working on small engines. These days Barry is often found in his "Hobby Shop" working on a mower or trimmer of one of his neighbors or friends. He likes to "putter" on these projects and enjoys getting these tools back to work. Barry was...

When we vote for any President we must also take into consideration whom he will hire for certain powerful departments. Village idiot Biden hired a former Mayor to be our transportation head, Pete Boutivitch. This man is also a communist. His father taught the merits of communism at Notre Dame University in South Bend, Indiana. Now Pete Boutivitch wants to apply communism to our nationwide transportation. He wants to charge Americans by the mile for driving on roads. They do this in communist nations. ONLY the wealthy drive in commie...
As the US Centers for Disease Control moves to extend a federal eviction moratorium that (including its original CARES Act version) has now been in place for most of 18 months and that President Joe Biden himself concedes is "not likely to pass constitutional muster," most of the public rhetoric and advocacy boils down to "what about the tenants?" That's understandable. Nobody -- at least nobody who's ever faced the prospect of homelessness and has any heart at all -- wants to see tenants kicked to the curb with nowhere to go, especially...
As I write this article, wildfires have once again covered much of Montana in a thick layer of unhealthy smoke. There are 25 active fires burning 250,000 acres from Hardin to Troy. Even if you don't see the flames, the smoke and poor visibility is hard to ignore. Yet, ignoring the issue and letting politics get in the way of action is exactly the problem in Washington, DC. Last year, fires across the west burned a record 10+ million acres and nearly 18,000 structures. The cost to taxpayers was in the billions and the loss of life and habitat...
