The local candidate debate tentaively scheduled for September 29 is being cancelled due to lack of interest by the candidates! The only candidate that responded was Sheriff Shawn Lesnik who was eager to debate his write-in opponent Daniel Hanson. Terry Karl Sandman, 82, passed away September 7, 2022, at the Roundup Memorial Hospital in Roundup, Montana. Terry was born to Carl and Virginia Sandman on June 29, 1940 in Lewistown. He attended the Solf country school, then went on to graduate from Winnett High School in 1958. On July 13, 1963 he married Donna May Helzer in Bridger, Montana.
