With the season coming to a close, the Musselshell Valley Historical Museum's 50th year was very eventful. The Museum is exceptional for the small town of Roundup. With documented written history of the county dating back to the 1800's, the museum has artifacts that go back even further. This year the Museum celebrated its 50-year anniversary with the addition of the Dinosaur Exhibit, and an engraved bench. The new exhibit drew a crowd. Joseph Jerome Kanta, 87, passed away in his sleep on September 27th in the home he had built. With his wife of 59 years by his side, Joe slipped away in the early morning hours of the day.
