  • Publishers Election Picks

    Oct 21, 2020

With the election less than two weeks away, I wanted to share my picks and why. First, I will pick the easy one, Barb Halverson, for Clerk of District Court, no opponent an easy win. The next is Laurie McKinnon for Montana State Supreme Court. Laurie has served admirably for the last eight years on the court. Her opinions as justice stem from the U.S. Constitution and the Constitution of the State of Montana. Laurie was an outstanding candidate in 2012 and will continue to be a bright light on the State Supreme Court's rather dim makeup. My...
