  • Bill Edwards, Roundup's Local Radio Founder, KLMB 99.7

    Lura Pitman|Dec 11, 2019

Radio has been one of the great loves of my life from the time of my youth. The music, the ball games, the talk shows were carefully tuned in on my stereo. Radio was my invisible friend and companionship in the remote country of my youth, where the social world was far away from my reality. After doing some small stories on local people for the Roundup Record, I knew that I wanted to interview Bill at KLMB Radio, Roundups local radio station. As I walked in the door, Bill greeted me and...

  • Pastor's Corner

    Dec 11, 2019

What Hinders People From Accepting The Truth of God? In studying the book of Daniel, Nebuchadnezzar (the king of Babylon) has been not the primary focus. Still, he does play a definite role in God’s working in Daniel's life and this particular part of history. He really interests me, and he gives some insight into mankind in general. I want to take a quick look at one of those insights in this column. One of the questions I have asked myself is, “what takes him so long to get the reality of the truths of God?" He shows him some very unusual thi...

  • SECOND WEEK

    Dec 11, 2019

Would you believe that this is already the second week of Advent! By the time you read this it will probably be the third week! Already! My how time flies. When my children were small – I had 5 – we had an Advent Wreath in our home with 4 candles around the perimeter and one in the center representing Jesus. Each Sunday after church, we would light one of the candles. Usually there are 3 purple candles and one pink candle with the center one which represents Jesus being white for purity. The first week, one of the children lit one candle – a...

By Senator Steve Daines The holiday season is upon us. Montana families across our state are giving thanks and enjoying quality time with their families and loved ones. As we gather around the dining table this year to express our gratitude, let us not forget the extraordinary privilege we have as free Americans. I want to give thanks to our Montana service members currently deployed, unable to be home for the holidays this year. Thank you for protecting our nation. I also want to express my gratitude to their families here at home, missing...

  • Congress, put politics aside and pass USMCA

    Dec 11, 2019

By Gary Locke and Erik Paulsen While Washington is often dominated with partisan gridlock, Congress can put politics aside and improve the everyday lives of Americans by passing a new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA), a trade deal that would replace the outdated North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). NAFTA needed to be modernized and the USMCA is a 21st-century upgrade that benefits all Americans. It includes pro-growth reforms that sustain businesses while bolstering labor and environmental protections. We know our former...

  • Real Election Interference-Big Tech Can Shift 15 Million Votes in 2020

    Harold Pease PhD|Dec 11, 2019

LibertyUnderFire warned in June 2018, “If Big Tech can control the information flow then they can also influence the outcome of the midterms and even future presidential elections should they succumb to a collective political view.” Big Tech is defined as Internet giants, Facebook, Google, Twitter and YouTube. They have. New evidence shows them poised to influence the 2020 presidential election potentially shifting 15 million votes to their favored candidate without leaving a paper trail. So says Robert Epstein, Ph. D, a research psy...

  • Turn Milkweed Pods into Works of Art

    Melinda Myers|Dec 11, 2019

Homemade gifts are a wonderful way to show you care. Making them from items grown in your garden adds that extra personal touch. And just like the plant, decorations and gifts made from milkweed pods are gaining in popularity. Considered a weed by some, common milkweed is making a comeback as more gardeners are growing this important food source for monarch butterflies. Harvest the seedpods and craft them into wreaths, stars and indoor holiday trees. Remove the pods from the plants, separate the halves and allow them to dry as needed. If you...

By Rick Griffith The 2019-2020 Panthers got their season started on the road playing a tough Winnett Ram team. The game was a great battle from beginning to end. The Panthers got off to a slow start offensively. We had many opportunities around the rim and at the free throw line but didn't take advantage. Derrick Zimmerman got the Rams off to a hot start hitting three three point shots in the first quarter and the Rams led 13-8. In the second quarter the Panthers settled into a bit of rhythm and...
