The museum is a building that once was a Catholic school from the 1920's to 1950's. Many of the students were borders from out of town. The teachers were Ursuline Nuns, who lived in a house south of the school. The school was eventually closed due to lack of students in 1952. Twenty years later in 1972 the Museum bought the building. On Monday June19th, a crane was brought to the North East corner of the city park to place the new toilets. Many people came by to see the massive crane, and the progression of the installation. The new toilets have been a work in progress by the city to acquire permits, contractors, and most importantly, funding. The Roundup High School Agriculture Department received a grant from the Mussell Valley Community Foundation in the amount of $2,856.73, providing the shop with industrial racks for safe and efficient storage of metal and lumber.
