Last week, the staff at Roundup Memorial Healthcare and the HillRom team installed new beds for the Long-Term Care Department. In June, the hospital beds and Emergency Room gurneys were delivered. This installation was the final step to complete replacement of beds throughout the entire facility. The teams worked hard to make this transition smooth and as easy as possible for patients.
The old beds were 21 years old and no longer repairable. The new beds will advance the quality of care by increasing patient comfort and satisfaction. Without the support of the following partners, this incredible improvement would not be possible for the Roundup facility and community: Montana Coal Board ($150,000), Signal Peak Community Foundation ($35,000), USDA Rural Development ($25,000), and Musselshell County taxpayers/District Board ($10,000).
