"Walking at the Speed of Light" Author to Visit Roundup

Author Cheryl Heser of Forsyth, former Rosebud County Library Director, will present a program and a book signing in Roundup on Sunday, September 15, as part of the outreach for her book published by Morgan James Publishing of New York.

Roundup Community Library will host a book signing from 2:00-4:00 that Sunday afternoon, including some readings by Heser at 2:30 and 3:30.

The program on “Grief, Healing and Faith“ will be hosted by First United Methodist Church at 319 1st Street West from 7:00-8:00p.m. with questions and book signing time extending until 8:30.

Heser commented, “The purpose of my book is to offer ideas and help for anyone experiencing grief, depression or any kind of darkness. The program gives me an opportunity to talk directly to people who need ideas and compassion or know others who need these things.”

“Walking at the Speed of Light: Reflections for Following Jesus in Grief and Joy” is a collection of reflections based on aspects of light which begins with the story of the death of Heser’s son Joshua of Lewistown and her grief and faith experiences.

The book focuses on Jesus as the Light of the World and the healing which comes through learning through Him and practicing forward thinking.

These events are among the several scheduled book signings and programs being offered throughout Montana in the next few months.

The book was officially released September 11, 2018, by Morgan James Publishing and its Faith division, and may be purchased at Christian and regular bookstores as well as online as either a print book or ebook. The book signing and program give an opportunity for acquiring the books with the author’s signature.
