GREAT FALLS, MONTANA – University of Providence has opened up the application process for the accelerated nursing program that begins January 2020 in Lewistown MT. This is a fast-paced 12-month intensive program for students who have a previous bachelor's degree in another field, but seek education to become an RN with a BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing). To complete the program, students who are accepted into the program will need to be relocated to Lewistown, MT for the full year. Applications for the program are due September 15. Students need to have completed 17 credits of specific pre-requisite courses in addition to a baccalaureate degree. Admission to the program is based on academic success and healthcare experience. Courses are 8 weeks in length. Students begin the program in Lewistown January 8, 2020. The nursing program at the University is approved by the MT Board of Nursing and nationally accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). Currently, the first cohort of students is completing their last semester in Lewistown and are set to graduate in Dec 2019.
