Open House Held for Teddy Blue Abbott Monument

Sixty-three people signed the guest book at the Open House held for the Teddy Blue Abbott Monument on Sunday, October 6 despite incorrect information in some of the media about the location. The comment heard over and over again was, “I had no idea the size of this sculpture.” A number of people, including several high school students, availed themselves of Greg’s invitation to actively participate in the sculpture’s creation by applying some clay.

Long-sleeved T-shirts displaying Greg’s original Teddy Blue Abbott Crossing the Musselshell were unveiled. They are available in a multitude of colors at a cost of $20.00. Examples are on display at Roundup’s KLMB-FM radio station and orders may be placed by contacting the Eiseleins, Bill Edwards or Linda Yount.

Unless a sign indicating “Do Not Disturb” is placed on the door of the building, the public is invited to stop by the blue metal shop located toward the back of the lot between 924 and 934 – 5th Street West whenever Greg is present. Greg welcomes assistance in the placement of clay and is always more than willing to answer questions about the project.
