On October 12th, Lavina students attended the Montana State University “Kids in Science.” This was a great experience for students grades 4-8 with over thirty interactive STEM activity booths, which included making rubber balls, operating robots, and even extracting teeth! Over twenty kids from Lavina took advantage of this amazing opportunity and had a great experience. Ashton Egge says, “ It was very hands on and I had a lot of fun!” This was sponsored by Lavina School Association and Lavina’s Science teacher, Mr. Grammens. Overall, the kids learned a lot and the students of Lavina are grateful for this unique experience.
