The Montana Coal Board recently awarded Roundup Memorial Healthcare $85,500 for their Access to Emergency Services Project. The project's primary intention is to address deficiencies in infrastructure due to the age of the facility (built in 1953). Infrastructure needs in this project include the: 40-year-old emergency generator system, 34-year-old control system and domestic hot water system, 80-year-old tractor (used for snow removal), and HVAC system (most installed in the 80's).
"As a local Critical Access Hospital, it is essential to have efficient emergency services equipment," said Holly Wolff, RMH CEO. "This funding will ensure RMH is prepared to serve our community and surrounding areas during an emergency situation."
The improvements included in the project will insure that our community's residents have improved access to healthcare and emergency services as well as increase the quality of the patient experience. Roundup Memorial Healthcare is extremely grateful to the Montana Coal Board for their continued support, which enables improvement that would not otherwise be possible.
