Kip Ryan (right), assistant director of the Montana High School Association, presents the 2018-2019 NorthWestern Energy Class C Academic Excellence Award to Winnett High School Friday night. Accepting the award are Mya Olsen, student council president, and Josh Gibbs, Superintendent. Students in AA, A, B, and C schools who lettered in varsity athletics, speech students who participated at the state meet, music students who received a superior rating at the district music festival and varsity cheerleaders had their grade point averages calculated. The cumulative GPA of the 24 Winnett students participating in those activities was 3.755. The award is given to the top school in each of the four classes.
