• Public schools and parents continue to amp up screen-led learning, despite failures at giving all kids a devices and research questioning those decisions.

• How has this affected behaviors, creativity and character development?

• Why will TRANS indoctrination in public schools continue? Five states now make LBGTQ curriculum mandatory. WILL this come here?

• Why is Common Core Education indicative of the big government we have and how is it dumbing down our kids?

• Has Feminism made the American economy hostile to families?Joy will discuss how 2nd wave feminism has targeted the family - and the results.

• Women’s feelings of self-now depend upon their economic productivity. How did we get here and how do we fix this?

• How did the Supreme Court decision on gay marriage enshrine the idea that sexes are interchangeable?

Joy Pullman is one of the most informed people you could meet when it comes to cultural issues – especially as they relate to education and family health. This will NOT be bloviating; this will be informational. Bring your note pad, this will be an equipping session and Joy will give you resources ideas that will help you facilitate learning for you, your kids or your grandkids.

NOTE: Joy will also be speaking at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2336 St. Johns (just off of 24th St.) Sunday March 8th at 4:00 pm. Her subject will be How to Create a Christian Culture for Your Kids. The public is welcome.

o Most kids spend the equivalent of a part-time job on screens. How can parents fix this?

o How are screens linked to behavioral disorders, depression, obesity, and retarded physical development?

o How does screen time inhibit mental and character development while killing hobbies and friendships?

o Simple, successful tips for parents and grandparents.

o 8:10 – 9:00 pm “Why Public Schools Can't Stop Transgender Indoctrination”

o There is little schools can or will do to stop the teaching of LGBT sexuality.

o Obergefell enshrined into law the idea that sexes are interchangeable. How has this affected transgender law and education?

o How feminism measures women's achievements against a man’ yardstick, and why this is bad for both sexes.

o How pushing moms into work sidelines their kids and costs our society in multiple ways.

o How we can create a family-affirming economy and culture.

~ Who is Joy Pullmann? ~

A respected author and editorialist with focus on education and families. Joy Pullmann is executive editor of The Federalist. She is the author of "The Education Invasion: How Common Core Fights Parents for Control of Kids." Her latest book, Classic Books for Ages 3-7 is a list of more than 200 recommended classics. Joy was previously managing editor of School Reform News at The Heartland Institute and the assistant editor for American Magazine at the American Enterprise Institute. She is the 2013-14 recipient of a Robert Novak journalism fellowship for in-depth reporting on Common Core national education mandates. She has taught at grade level from preschool to high school, tutored college students, and written public-speaking curriculum. Joy has also taught middle school history, literature, and debate. Joy is a graduate of the Hillsdale College honors and journalism programs. She and her husband Nathanial live in Indiana and have five children ages eight and younger.
