Roundup local Chapter N PEO (Philanthropic Educational Organization) is pleased to announce that PEO International has awarded Kim Overvold, a graduate student at the Colorado State University, a $1,100 PCE Scholarship. Kim is the daughter of Larry and Bette Ross of Roundup. She is finishing her Masters in Social Work and pursuing her goal to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
PCE is a Program for Continuing Education. It was established in 1973 to provide need-based grants to women in the United States and Canada whose education has been interrupted and find it necessary to return to school to support themselves and or their families.
PEO is passionate about its mission—Promoting educational opportunities for women—celebrating the advancement of women; educate woman through scholarship, grants, awards, loans and stewardship of Cottey College; and motivate women to achieve their highest aspirations.
