In an effort to address local resource concerns, the Lower Musselshell Conservation District invites the public to a local work group meeting.
The purpose of the meeting is to give you an opportunity to express your natural resource concerns whether it be a specific weed that needs to be addressed, soil health concerns, range health or management concerns, areas of education you’d like to see, water quality concerns or land management concerns. We as a conservation district are working to address resource concerns and issues in our district. We would appreciate your assistance in developing a list of resource issues, which in turn we will prioritize for our work plan and for the NRCS to use for future Farm Bill Program projects.
Those who might be interested in attending include agricultural producers, grain growers, livestock producers, grazing districts, irrigation districts, owners of private forest land, agricultural and environmental organizations, MSU Extension, County weed departments, BLM, FSA, USFS, COE, FWS, FWP, DEQ, DNRC, NRCS, non-profit groups that have natural resource in their best interest.
The meeting is open to the public as well as government, livestock groups, farm, and wildlife groups.
WHERE: St Benedicts Church Basement, 503 Main Street, Roundup, MT
WHEN: Thursday, March 19, 2020 from Noon to 2:00PM
Without your input, resource issues important to you may not be addressed. We hope to see you there.
