Phillip B. Wendling was born January 17, 1942 in Minneapolis, MN to Edward and Evelyn Wending. He married (later divorced) Carol Beamish and raised four daughters. He was a licensed Master Plumber and served as a Journeyman for the Plumbers and Pipefitters UA Local 34 in St. Paul, MN for over 30 years. Phil was a bull and bronc rider who finally made his way to Montana in 1995. Phil was known for his strength, generosity, love for animals, and quick wit. A few days before he passed he crafted the line, "If I am gonna die today, I'll call ya". He will be deeply missed by all those who loved him including: Sheri Wendling, Robyn (Jon) DeHoyos, Sandra Wendling (Greg Gosney), Susie Overby, grandchildren Derrick (Laurissa) Wendling, Isaac and Zach Reiss, Madison and Mara Overby, Great grandchildren Westen, Ryder, Augustus, and Ellie Wendling, Sister Judy (Earl) LaVoy, Wendling family of Spring Lake Park, MN and LaCrosse Wis, and friend Pam Kane.
