Letters to the Editor

Just as I thought, the Progressive Liberal party is using Wuhan virus to control and take more freedoms away from we Americans. We now hear the word "ALLOW" more each day. Since when do We the People who have a Constitution our law and Bill of Rghts tell us when we are allowed to do anything? Because of shutdown, the Government has made us into a "Snitch society" and promise rewards if we turn each other in regarding country closure if we do not follow their rules. I worry about our future as a free society. Will a future President use another pandemic to shutdown country and take more freedoms away from us? Progressives saw how easily we gave in this time....so what will hold them back the next time?

Letter to Nancy K.

I have seen that you write almost weekly to the Editor and I have to give you credit that you speak out on your opinion(s). But what I don’t understand on all that you write is always complaining about everything here in Roundup and government issues. All your ‘Letters To The Editor’ over the months is making a real bad impression on our area of Montana.

Before I moved here to wonderful Roundup, Montana, I did allot of research through the internet and viewed Roundup City Council reports, Musselshell County reports and the Roundup Record-Tribune and various other media to see if Roundup, Montana was a community that I wanted to retire in. I’m sure I’m not the only one that has done that and I hope other people see beyond your opinion(s).

If you take half of your energy writing letters of complaint and if you have a problem with a law, regulation or event, my suggestion is for you to either join the city council or county council or call our Senator or Congressmen that can help with issues that you have. Just remember when you either call or join, you have to present your issues you have in a very professional presentation for everyone to listen and not just complain. I just hope you understand that changes take time, funds and votes. They don’t happen overnight.

There is not one community, town, city or state that doesn’t need changes. But if you look around Roundup, this community and state is pretty dang wonderful! The weather is not 100% perfect, the roads are not 100% perfect, the laws are not 100% perfect, but there are millions of people that would give their right arm to live where we live! My husband and I just moved here in 2019 from California and rather for us to complain about the cost of living, laws, Governor, water issues and new laws and regulations coming into place, we decided we did not want live in that environment any more or be a part of. And relocating is not that difficult to do! Just takes determination to relocate! My suggestion is for you to find another country, state, city or commucommunity and move on if you are so miserable here with everything!

And again….Roundup, Montana. You rock!!!!
