Montana State University-Northern has determined that the start date for fall semester will remain as published, and classes will begin on August 31, 2020. The university is pursuing a modified schedule that will include face-to-face lectures and labs and also ensure that students will not be expected to be on campus after Thanksgiving break. Chancellor Kegel has established work groups to develop the detailed plan for Fall 2020, which will be published on msun.edu and updated regularly as decisions are made or circumstances change.
Summer sessions will continue to run fully online as planned.
The University remains committed to fulfilling its mission and meeting its standards of excellence while protecting the health and safety of the campus and community. These decisions are made with the understanding that they may change in response to any public health directives.
