Central Montana Head Start is a private non-profit organization that was established locally to provide children ages 3-5 with the educational opportunities they need to prepare for kindergarten. CMHS focuses on strengthening and empowering children, families, and communities by providing services in the following areas: education, health, nutrition, disabilities, mental health, family engagement, and family services. Funds this year will be used to help Head Start families with medical, dental and mental health appointment costs.The John D. Iverson Youth Center provides the youth of Roundup a safe place to gather with adult supervision. Its purpose is to provide caring adults and opportunities for youth to develop their lives in such a way that they become contributing members of society. A contribution to the youth center is a contribution to the leaders of tomorrow.
