Friends of Musselshell School, Inc. (FoMS) and the spectacular talents of the Illustrious Musselshell Players are presenting Happy Birthday Dear Grandpa, an entertaining farce written by Michal Jacot at the Musselshell School. The dinner theatre will be held two nights, Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19. A matinee performance follows on Sunday, September 20.
Happy Birthday Dear Grandpa is a light-hearted play featuring Walter “Grandpa” Hartley. He is a crusty, crabby, sour, bad-tempered man of 96 who is determined to tell the world that his grandkids are trying to kill him for their inheritance ($642 and a postcard collection). Grandpa makes sure he tells everyone he encounters how he feels. So when Grandpa suddenly slumps forward, face down in his birthday cake at his surprise party, the grandkids realize it looks like murder and they are the prime suspects! Happy Birthday Dear Grandpa is produced by special arrangement with Eldridge Publishing Co.
