The Rocky Mountain College volleyball program continued its tradition of academic excellence this year by receiving the coveted American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Academic Award for the thirteenth straight season.
Boasting a cumulative 3.8 GPA, including seven players earning a 4.0, the Battlin’ Bears ranked among the top academic programs in the nation.
The honor follows another successful season that saw the Battlin’ Bears post a record of 19-12, in head coach Yang Yang’s first season.
“We are very proud of our volleyball program, and we look forward to seeing their continued success on the court, and in the classroom,” Yang said.
