Three years ago in 2017, Dan Yoder and his family moved north of Roundup from Ashland to begin Bull Mountain Fencing. Dan and his brother build quality fence of all kinds, including chain link, wood, barbwire as well as building gates, corral panels, loading chutes, and cattle guards. They also carry feeders for sale.
When I arrived to meet Dan, he was welding a corral panel that was six foot tall by ten foot long. Dan and his dog, Whiskey, showed me around the construction. Dan works in an organized shop and has built a small rustic cabin that serves as his office. He told me that business has picked up every year since moving here, and that 2020 has been his best year yet. He and his family are Amish, and are limited in some of the useful operations that serve the fast paced world, however, he is able to use many of the modern technologies from the property he rents. Tall dark and handsome, Dan would not agree to a photo. (Now that I have your attention you have to meet Dan for yourselves to see if its true.) Dan likes to fish and hunt, and is looking forward to a 10 day long hunting retreat with his family. Hardworking Handy Dan can be found under Bull Mountain Fencing on our Classified page as a weekly advertiser. Thank you Dan for the interview and advertising with The Roundup Record Tribune & Winnett Times.
