The Musselshell County Fair Board is excited to announce that plans and preparations are being made for a few open classes which will be held prior to the 2021 4-H & FFA Youth Fair. One of the primary goals of these classes will be to increase community participation and enjoyment of the 2021 Fair season. These classes will include photography, gardening, and quilting. The Fair Board is in search of community members who are interested and excited to help on a committee for the open classes to finalize entry guidelines. Committee members would be asked to assist with seeking a Judge for the open class, check-in exhibits, assist with displays, place ribbons, monitor during viewing hours, and check-out exhibits. A secondary goal of the open classes for the community would be to grow the Fair Board. The Musselshell County Fair Board members serve as an advisory board to the Board of County Commissioners. With the recent and upcoming improvements to the fairgrounds, the board has high hopes that more events and activities will occur at the fairgrounds. Please contact Jennifer Solf at the Musselshell-Golden Valley Extension Office (406)323-2704 if you may be interested in helping with the open classes.
