The Montana Urban and Community Forestry Association Recognized Linda Yount, City of Roundup, as its Outstanding Urban Forestry Leader for the State of Montana for 2020

Linda has been a strong advocate of the Roundup Tree Board (BUD) for many years. She has a vision for public trees in Roundup and has written and administered numerous urban forestry grants leading to Roundup having a progressive urban forestry program. This dedication enabled Roundup to receive the Tree City of the Year for the State of Montana for 2019. The plaque summaries Linda's volunteer efforts:
