Happenings at the Musselshell County Sheriff’s office

Between 3/19 and 4/2 there were 47 calls on 911. 28 of these calls are what we deem as unwarranted 911 calls. They primarily consist of people hanging up on the dispatcher and other calls that do not require emergency services to be sent out.

There were 10 calls for the ambulance. These calls include

A male with low blood pressure and high blood sugar.

A male that was not responsive,

A juvenile female having a seizure,

Another male that was not responsive,

A female that had fallen and needed assistance to get up,

The same female later called complaining of back pain,

A single vehicle accident with injuries,

The hospital requested assistance from the ambulance crew until the Dr. could get to the hospital, and an adult female having seizures.

There was one call for the fire dept. This call ended up being for a controlled burn near Dean Creek. Thankfully, there was no property or home damaged and the fire was appropriately contained.

There were four calls for the Sheriff’s deputies to respond to, they include:

A missing teen…this teen returned to his home on his own later the same evening,

A single vehicle accident with injuries,

A family member assault,

And a RADD report (RADD = Reckless And Dangerous Driver).

On top of these calls for service, the deputies conducted 38 traffic stops during this time frame. There were 29 warnings given for the various infractions, and 10 citations given.
