The 14th Judicial District Youth Court Probation Officer, along with Federal Drug Enforcement Agency and the Musselshell County Sheriff’s Office, will be providing a drug identification educational symposium for educators, administrators, faith-based personnel, parents and any other interested parties. This will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 6:00 p.m., at the old elementary school, currently the senior center. The goal is to educate on drug use, how to identify potential users, differing forms of drugs and paraphernalia being used and how drugs are being hidden in plain sight. Information on newly devised form of drugs, such as DAB, wax, butter, edibles and other concentrates will be discussed.
Drugs these days are not like your parents’ weed. An edible gummy bear has up to ten doses of THC (10 mg is a dose). The industry is also using creative names to entice users, such as Orange Kush, Cap’n Munch, Frooty Loops, and Munchy Way.
Join the professionals working with youth and community to discuss challenges and issues around current drug use and learn about the current drug culture.
