American Idol's Lauren Mascitti at 2021 RIDE

You might remember Lauren Mascitti from this past season of ABC’s “American Idol”. Mostly know for her solo round performance during Hollywood Week of a song she penned herself titled “God Made A Woman”. She quickly became a fan favorite. The multitude of fans that she gathered through the show quickly went to her aid when she didn’t make it to the final round. Within a day, they catapulted Lauren’s album to #4 on the iTunes Country Albums Chart.

Lauren grew up in the small farm community of Louisville, Ohio, and was raised on the sounds of her grandparents’ music collection. Her Nana was a fan of old-school soul and gospel music. Her Papaw loved outlaw country stars like Waylon Jennings. Lauren rolled those influences into her own sound, recording her first album at 7-years-old and quickly growing into a seasoned performer, skilled multi-instrumentalist, and expressive song storyteller.

Lauren has lived in Nashville for several years now. She met her fiancé, Shawn Camp, who is a great country singer himself with quite a few songs in the charts, during a chance songwriters encounter. Shawn has quickly been a guiding force in her career guidance. Recently she has been writing with Pam Tillis. She has some new music coming out in late April with a new single called “One Life Stand”.

Lauren will be in Roundup on July 3rd for RIDE and she’ll be sharing the stage with country multi-platinum recording artist Joe Nichols, one of Country Music’s most praised traditional artists. The Headliner has had six #1 singles including chart toppers like “Brokenheartsville”, “Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off”, and “Gimmie That Girl”. He’s a four-time Grammy nominee. His last album, “Crickets” was certified Platinum with sales over a million units. Joe is currently in the studio recording a new album for his new record label, Quartz Hill Records. The master of ceremonies for the July 3rd show will be Nick Tyler, morning radio personality on KGHL Radio in Billings.
