Letters to the Editor

I stayed in Roundup a couple of months last summer. I encountered 3 illegal aliens and complained to the police station, the dispatcher got me in contact with a cop. I told him my complaint. His reply was, “I’m not going to ruin a persons day because of the color of his skin.” Actually I was dumbstruck. I said “the color of his skin has nothing to do with it.” He said, “this conversation is over” and he hung up.

Later during my stay I saw the illegal aliens again. I called the dispatch, made another complaint and wanted to talk to the sheriff. Dispatch said she would tell the sheriff to call me. With the worthless results from the first complaint, I was not surprised, maybe a little, when the sheriff did not call.

Evidently, if you are a United States citizen, whether you do anything wrong or not, you will get a ticket or harassed.

If you are in this country illegally, you are breaking the law. U.S. citizen = ticket, harassment. Illegal Alien = free ride. Shame on you Sheriff & shame on you Roundup cops.

Your type of justice or in justice infuriates me.
