Betty J. Collins

Betty J. Collins, age 89, of Roundup, MT passed away May 6, 2021 at Roundup Memorial Hospital of natural causes.

Betty was born June 4, 1931 In Detroit, MI, the daughter of Firmin and Zulma Vergote. She graduated in 1949 and then furthered her education and became an x-ray technician. She met Walt Collins who was serving in the United States Air Force in Mt. Clemens, MI in 1952 as she was a hostess at the U. S. O. Club. She wasn't too impressed with his "hillbilly band" as she was accustom to "Big Band" music. He was able to convince her to go on a date and they were married a short time later...
