Carol Ann Wendling

Carol Ann Wendling passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2021. She was born July 18, 1943 in Tucson, AZ to Howard and Madge Beamish. Carol married Phillip Wending in 1960, and they raised four daughters in Minnesota. After their divorce, she met Adrian Foss and they spent over 30 years together. She was an entrepreneur, owning and operating a grocery store, bar & restaurant, and being an active business partner in other interests over the years. As a mother she was supportive, encouraging, loving, honest and fun. She loved her children and grandchildren and was proud of their accomplishments. She was loyal to her family and friends. She loved adventures and after retiring spent time with Adrian traveling the country in their motor home living in Florida and Arizona. Of all their travels ,It was Montana that she loved the most and where she and Adrian planted their roots permanently. She enjoyed reading books about the history of Montana and became our local historian. Carol was a social person and one phrase you could always count on hearing from her was, "Come on in and visit". Mom, we will all miss our visits with you very much.

She will be deeply missed by all those who loved her including: Sheri Wendling, Robyn (Jon) Dehoyos, Sandra Wendling (Greg Gosney), Susie Overby; grandchildren: Derrick (Laurissa) Wendling, Isaac and Zach Reiss, Madison and Mara Overby. Great grandchildren Westen, Ryder, Gus, and Ellie Wendling. Brother Todd (Barb) Beamish. Close family friend/adopted daughter Lisa Melhouse. Carol was proceeded in death by her parents, as well as Phillip Wendling, Adrian Foss, and brother Bill Beamish.

In lieu of flowers, donations will be given to the Melstone EMT's.
