Cynthia (McKeen) Janzen,
Cynthia, age 70, of Roundup, MT passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on October 18, 2021, due to Covid and other natural causes. Cynthia was at the Livingston Memorial Hospital in Livingston, Montana at the time of her passing.
Cynthia was born on April 12, 1951, to Gilbert and Ada McKeen of Roundup, MT. In 1955, the family moved to Billings, where she grew up and attended school. Cynthia played basketball at Billings Senior High and after graduating, she attended Rocky Mountain College.
In January of 1971, Cynthia married David Janzen. To this union, two sons were born, Darold and Davey Janzen. David and Cynthia later divorced.
Through the years, Cynthia became very close to Doris McKeen (her sister-in-law) and had a very close friendship with Shirley Novak and her family. Doris and Shirley were more like sisters to her. Cynthia loved family and loved to visit. Cynthia's two sons, Darold and Davey, were the joy of her life.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Ada McKeen, her half-brother, Charles McKeen, and three nephews.
Cynthia is survived by her two loving sons; Darold Janzen and Davey (Andrea) Janzen, three brothers; David (Savina), Paul (Pam), and Walter (Janice), one sister; Dorlores King, half-brother; Robert McKeen, sister-in-law; Doris McKeen and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held in the spring at New Life Fellowship in Roundup, where Cynthia was a member.
