One of My Favorite Exhibits at the Musselshell Valley Historical Museum

Mary Purcell enjoys the artwork, especially the pen + ink drawings. The exquisite woman’s face in the entryway by Nik Carpenter is one of her favorites. The drawing is of Clara Lehfeldt Egge (1892-1975). It was drawn by Nik Carpenter from a 1913 photograph.

What is your favorite exhibit or artifact at the Musselshell Valley Historical Museum? If you want to share one of your favorites, I would be glad to include a photo of the exhibit. Mary Purcell gave me three of her favorite exhibits. So, I will be including more from Mary at a later date.

If you want to share, you can email me at [email protected] or share it on our museum Facebook page. This will be a continuing series. I am planning to share the series with both newspapers, The Roundup Record-Tribune and the Roundup Herald, as well as the Musselshell Valley Historical Museum Facebook page.

The museum will open for the season on Sunday, May 1, 2022. It will be open seven days a week from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM until the end of September. Come join us to learn more about our local history. We have new displays every year.
