The Melstone Broncs and Lady Broncs traveled to Great Falls last week for the Class C State Basketball tournament. The boys had their first game of the tournament on Wednesday against the Roy-Winifred Outlaws, losing 26-28. They moved on to play the Shields Valley Rebels on Thursday morning, winning 50-29. They moved on to play the Broadus Hawks on Friday afternoon, this was their fifth match up of season and the Broncs won 48-40 in overtime. The Broncs advanced to the consolation game on Saturday afternoon against the Belt Huskies, losing 22-47.
The Lady Broncs had their first game of the Tournament on Thursday against the Box Elder Lady Bears, losing 33-42. They moved on to play the Twin Bridges Lady Falcons on Friday morning, losing 40-48.
