Carlina Ward (left) runs the 800 meters in a personal best time of 2 minutes and 54.77 seconds for fourth place in the 8C meet Friday. She also took fifth place in the high jump with a personal best of 4 feet 4 inches, and competed in the 100 and 200 meter races and javelin.
