Letters to the Editor

Every day on modern media we hear how China is over taking the United States in world leadership. What we do not hear are the problems that China has and is facing in it's future. Yes, maybe and that is a long winded maybe, we could see China become the worlds largest economy in 2030.China will never establish a meaningful lead and would remain further behind in productivity even as far as the year 2050. The reason, the Chinese population is changing and so is China's work force. In 2020 China had a population of 1.402 billion people. China has a aging population. Data projects that China's working class will shrink going from 986 billion to 352 million by the year of 2050. The Chinese people do not seem interested in multiplying their nations population, and at least 100,000 unwanted babies are cast out like garbage left to die each year. Xi Xi Ping President of the Republic of China, cannot feed his people. China relies heavily on soybean imports from the United States and Brazil. Soybeans make up 84% of the Chinese domestic consumption. China also is dependent upon the United States for direct Investments that in 2020 brought China $123.9 billion dollars in her treasury. News today has told the world of China trying to control the Panama canal which 63% of American trade goods passes through before reaching U.S. ports. China is bullying Indochina, Taiwan, that they are the true Indigenous people that these countries belong to them.China has yet to learn that no nation wants to be dominated or disrespected . So they have many enemies in the world. In a recent world food security poll,China ranked 34th in a count of 113 nations for food abundance.Politically this fact could be dynamite to the Chinese government. The United States gained her world power over a period of 245 years. To do anything right takes time. China has been rushing to world power with a unstoppable greed. Ever since 1976 when the vicious evil tyrannical Mao died, they have trying to catch up with rest of world. The current problem with the United States today is that we are allowing so many unqualified people to become elected officials in the name of political correctness and racial justice. This weakness in our government helps China in many ways to advance in ambition. China's downfall in the future will come from within because of interior issues. But we must reinforce our strength in global leadership and make China respect us as a trade partner .Respect is one thing that the Chinese demand when dealing with other leaders or they will walk all over them like a door mat.Joe Biden has their foot prints on his administration. The Chinese see him as weak and feeble. We all look forward to Novembers election to make much needed changes to save this country from a dangerous left communist take over. The Chinese are watching too. After the elections they will make plans to further their own agenda for world power. The strength of those voted in by Americans will determine their game plan.
