The Friends of MSU Library Book Group has announced its 2022-2023 reading list and public discussion dates.

The book group is led by Montana State University humanities and outreach librarian Jan Zauha. It is free and open to all members of the public. Community members take turns serving as discussion leaders. Each year the group picks its annual reading list during the book smorgasbord in September. Since its founding in 2000, the group has read more than 240 titles.

"I really appreciate the diversity of perspectives that this list embodies," said Zauha. "The list features African American, Iranian American and South American authors, along with authors from both eastern and western European countries."

Most discussions will take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. and will be held online via Zoom. Individuals are invited to attend one, some or all of the meetings. Meetings will be held in-person beginning in May or June 2023, Zauha said.
