John K Roders Jr. was born on October 8th, 1938 and passed away on his ranch (he built) in Roundup, Montana on November 5th, 2022.
He was born to John Karel Roders Sr. and his wife Whilahmima Whiskstra in Hempstead, New York. He graduated in New York and served in the US Navy from 1958 to 1962.
He loved: fishing, hunting and traveling. He had many trophies, adventures and great stories. He was a successful businessman and owned John Roders Company as a ceiling contractor for over 50 years. He always had a smile, and never knew a stranger. He sponsored Safari Club international, Ducks unlimited, National Wild Turkey Federation, Pheasants Forever, and The National Rifle Association.
He was a man who was respected by all. John had "free spirit" and "white line" fever.
He was the world's BEST father and a friend to everyone. He was always supportive even if he didn't agree with you. He will be missed dearly and he leaves behind a huge legacy!
He loved the outdoors and nature. I hope when you see a beautiful sunset/beach or flock of flying geese; you remember his infectious smile and have a bud light for him. John belived in God and will go before us and build a house fo us. God must have needed another angel so he took the best on home. Till we meet again, send all of our love.
"This is just a brief overview of 84 years of a 'wonderful' man's life."
