Senior News for Musselshell County

We would like to welcome you at the Senior Center. Join us on Monday, Wednesday and Thursdays. We eat lunch at noon and the cost for lunch is $5.00. We play a card game on Monday & Wednesday at 11:15 and have Bingo at 11:15 every Thursday. All of our activities are free and all are welcome to come and join in. Utilizing these services provides proper nutrition and social engagement. Our goal is to help seniors live independently for as long as possible.

We would like to thank those who donated garden produce this summer and monetary donations to purchase meat. We also have several people who regularly donate Bingo prizes. We appreciate their generosity!

Once a month, Seniors can get their blood pressure checked here at the center. This is usually the 3rd Thursday of the month on Birthday dinner. A representative from Area 2 comes in once a month with their newsletter to speak of pertinent issues that deal with Medicare, scams, and other health related items. As always, we appreciate their presence and expertise.

Don’t forget about our new program!

MCCOA has launched a program that is able to help seniors in their homes no matter what their income may be. The service is not free but is affordable and we can set you up. Call us at 406-323-2015 if you would like to schedule someone to help you for a couple of hours.

If you are in need of bus transportation for a medical appointment we can help you. The cost of a round trip ride to Billings is $45. Please call the week before to schedule a ride.

We appreciate everyone who helps us here and donates their time and support at MCCOA especially our RSVP volunteers!
