It is with great pleasure that Friends of Musselshell School, Inc. and the Illustrious Musselshell Players will soon be presenting their 20th theatre production. The Players will be acting out the entertaining spoof of an old-fashioned melodrama, The Saga of the Prospector's Daughter or She was only a Miner's Minor, written by Pat Cook. The Dinner Theatre will be presented at the Musselshell School on the evenings of September 29 & 30. The popular Sunday Matinee will be presented in the afternoon of October 1.
Come join Gabby, a grizzly old prospector who would like a different ending to the play, as he manages to steer the cast of oddball characters that seemingly ad lib their way through the wildest plot ever to hit the Musselshell stage. Every person that crosses the stage wants their saga/story heard by the audience which creates a chaotic scene that only the piano player seems to be able to control.
Reservations are required for the dinner theatre only. The cost is $25.00 per person for a dinner and theatre performance. Seating is limited and tickets are sold on a first come first served basis. Reserve your seat for the dinner theatre by calling Ken Eickhoff (406-947-5200). If there is no answer, leave a detailed message. All messages will receive a return call.
No reservations are required to attend the Sunday matinee. The cost of the matinee is $10.00 per person (preschool free). The curtain goes up promptly at 2 pm. Coffee and cookies are served in the main hall after the matinee.
This feature is produced by special arrangement with Eldridge Publishing Co. All profits generated from this fundraiser are used to operate Musselshell School as a community center.
