The ever-popular dinner theatre presented by Friends of Musselshell School, Inc and enhanced by the spectacular talents of the Illustrious Musselshell Players is scheduled to be held two nights, Friday, September 29 and again Saturday, September 30 at the Musselshell School. Each evening will feature dinner and the two-act hilarious old-fashioned melodrama, "The Saga of the Prospector's Daughter," or "She Was Only a Miner's Minor," written by Pat Cook. A matinee performance will be presented on Sunday, October 1. All profits generated from this fundraiser are used to operate Musselshell School as a community center.
Come follow the saga of the lovely, innocent Constance Purdy who is about to lose her home to that low-down, lying, two-faced, double-dealing, back-stabbing villain-about town, Wiley Schlink. Will Monroe Mannerly be the hero and rescue Purdy just in time? Where did Purdy's long-lost father go? These questions aren't readily answered because the audience will be laughing too hard at the lady Sheriff, who has a mortgage on her jail, at the Medicine Man, who comes on stage in a dress, and at the crazed saloon-smashing suffragette bearing an ax. If you think you get the picture just wait until the some of the actors are caught napping and others are playing cards between acts! Come watch the talented cast as they attempt to recreate "The Saga of the Prospector's Daughter."
