Multiple Red Ribbon Cuttings

Friday September 8th, the City Council, Mayor Jones, and Commissioner Goffena met with local businesses to celebrate their Red Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.

Starting the Day out with Dimmick Auto Sales, 406-323-8897. Owner Tim Dimmick along with daughter and son-in-law Mark and Tiffany McCraw, and employee JJ Marshall. Tim began his business as auto repair and UHAUL business, and has added auto sales to his current business.

The crew moved onto Rural Heating and Cooling Systems, 406-647-6699. Business owner Eric Maris along with coworkers Donavan Fox, James Stevens, Chris Bilbrey met for the ribbon ceremony. The business was started in Roundup two years ago, having moved from Billings. The company provides heating, cooling, ventilation, and appliance repair to the Musselshell county community.

From there, the team met Joe the Plumber 406-580-6825, in the IGA parking lot. Joe's business is recognizable to everyone because of bold signage on his work van. Joe Kosciesza and his Cindy moved to Roundup from Belgrade two years ago and have been very busy in the Round-up Community. Joe has over twenty years of plumbing experience, and he and his wife are very happy to be in a small community.

The next Ribbon was cut for The Fat Straw. Most of us know Johnny Chavez and his wife Stephanie Graben from their first Roundup business, Pronto Construction. The opened The Fat Straw and have been going non-stop with both businesses. Johnny and Stephanie have been instrumental in many community projects and local donations.

A final ribbon was cut in celebration of the "R" being repainted. The crew all met with those involved in the event for a photo at the War Memorial, featuring the tee-shirts they had made and the "R" in the background. Jerry Wickland put the event together, and the tee-shirts, and Northern Treasures Cheri and Daniel Tate donated all of the paint. Others to be recognized for their contributions and volunteer work are Donna Randal, AJ Maasseu, Tell Arthur, Jesse Sellars, Ken Poping, Dommy Sellars, Brandon and Jordan Papino, Robin Anderson, Treven Edwards, Daniel and Tana Ray, Brett and Bonnie Turner, and Bob Pancratz.
