Margaret "Bubbsy" Reighard

Margaret was born at home near Delphia, MT on Nov. 30, 1924 and passed away peacefully at home in Roundup on Sept. 22, 2023 - the last day of summer. She was the daughter of Ronald and Geneva Adolph and grew up on the ranch at Delphia with a brother - Clifford and a sister - Shirley. She attended school at Delphia through the 8th grade and graduated from Roundup High School in 1943. Some of her happiest memories were of those years growing up on the ranch and of all the friends she made at school. Growing up during the Depression years taught her lifelong lessons that carried her through the rest of her life. She always put others needs ahead of her own and worked tirelessly to make her community a better place.

After graduating from Roundup High School she was employed as a payroll clerk for Republic Coal and later at the Musselshell County Treasurer's office until her retirement. Her retirement years were busy ones spent working at various part time jobs and volunteering wherever she saw a need to help people and her community. Among her favorites were working as a hostess at the Busy Bee, paticipating in Lions Club, delivering meals on wheels, helping kids learn at grade school and baking everyone's favorite cookies.

She married Clyde Reighard on June 21, 1947 and is survived by her daughter Caryn, son Doug, 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 11 great - great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at First United Methodist Church, October 28th at 1:00 p.m. in Roundup. Memorial donations can be given to the charity of choice but the greatest tribute to our mom is to do something kind for someone every day. It is how she lived her life.
